The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted by world leaders from the 193 United Nations member states in 2015. This agenda serves as a blueprint for countries to partner and work towards creating a balance of environmental, social, and economic sustainability. 

At the heart of this agenda lie the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals. Each with its own targets, the SDGs highlight what we need to achieve to eradicate poverty around the globe, reduce levels of inequality, and address the climate crisis.
